Food, Glorious Food

Whenever people are away from home, whether it’s on business or pleasure, a day visit or staying overnight, our customer research has shown that the major factor that makes a venue memorable is the food. It doesn’t matter how fantastic are the rooms, the facilities or the décor, if the restaurant is sub standard, then that’s the memory that lingers long after the visit is over.


Silk purses and sow’s ears is so true in the kitchen. Mass produced, bulk ingredients, purchased on a budget will be always be reflected in the finished dish, which is why it amazes me that so many venues spend fortunes on buildings yet continue to serve mediocre menus.

CCC chefs work to a tight budget, but they negotiate special terms with their local partners so they don’t have to limit either their culinary imagination or portion size to produce quality innovative cuisine. 
 
Whether it’s meat, fish, seasonal game, or the freshest of vegetables, using the best ingredients allows our experienced chefs to utilise their skills and create dishes that look good and taste even better. Bread is baked on the premises each day, so even the rolls are really fresh and served warm and crispy. And you can really tickle your taste buds on real home made desserts that are prepared in-house.
 
Quality is the byword at all Chartridge venues and this applies as much to the food as to the friendly service that our staff provide. We ensure that every client and delegate enjoys their stay and leaves with a smile on their face, looking forward to renewing the experience.
